Generating Prosperity in Recovery and Beyond

Whether you’re recovering from substance use, behaviors, food issues, or a scarcity mindset, Subagh Kriya is here for you! It awakens the prosperity-generating energy from within so we you have the magnetism to “let things come to you.”

Practice Subagh Kriya

Each part of this kriya (yoga set) must be done for an equal amount of time, either 3 or 11 minutes. Do not exceed 11 minutes each.

Only the first exercise can be practiced on its own for 3 or 11 minutes.

Exercise 1

(Meditation for Prosperity II) Sit in Easy Pose (crossed legs) or in a chair. The upper arms are relaxed with the elbows bent. Palms are in front of the chest. Strike the outer sides of the hands together, forcefully hitting the area from the base of the little finder (Mercury finger) to the base of the palm. Then strike the sides of the index fingers (Jupiter fingers) together. When you strike the index fingers together, let the right thumb cross underneath the left. Hit Hard! Alternately strike the outer sides of the palms and the index fingers while chanting “Har” with the tip of your tongue; pulling the navel with each “Har.” Chant one “Har” per second. Eyes are focused at the tip of the nose.

Exercise 2

Stretch the arms out to the sides and up at a 60 degree angle. The palms face forward; spread the fingers wide, make them stiff. Cross the arms in front of your face. Alternate, first the left arm crosses in front of the right and then the right in front of the left. Continue crossing the arms; keep the elbows straight, fingers open and stiff. This movement is done to the same rhythm as exercise 1, but you do not chant.

Exercise 3

Keep the arms out and up at 60 degrees as in the previous exercise. Arms are stretched; elbows stay straight. The mudra changes; make a fist around the thumb of each hand; squeeze your thumbs tightly as if trying to squeeze all the blood out of them. Move your arms in small backward circles while squeezing your thumbs. With each backward circle chant the mantra “God” powerfully from your navel. The speed and rhythm of the chanting is the same as in the previous exercises. Move powerfully so that the entire spine shakes, you may even be lifted slightly up off the ground by the movement.

Exercise 4

Bend the arms; elbows point to the sides. the forearms are parallel to the floor and the palms face the body around the level of the diaphragm. Move the hands alternately up and down between the heart and navel. (The right hand moves up a few inches as the left hand moves down, and vice versa). One hand stays in front of the other as you move.

As the hands move, chant “Har Haray Haree Wahe Guru” in a deep monotone with one repetition of the mantra approximately every 4 seconds. Chant from your navel.

If you are practicing the exercises for 11 minutes each, then you will chant the mantra out loud for 6 minutes, whisper it strongly for 3 minutes, then whistle it for 2 minutes. If you are practicing the exercises for 3 minutes each, then you will chant the mantra out loud for 1 minute, whisper it strongly for 1 minute, and then whistle it for 1 minute.

Exercise 5

Rest the right forearm on the left forearm in front of the body at shoulder height, palms face down in front of the body at shoulder height; keep arms steady and parallel to the floor; spine is straight. Eyes are closed. Breathe slowly and deeply so that one breath takes a full minute (build up to this, it’s hard!) Inhale for 20 seconds, hold for 20 seconds, and exhale for 20 seconds. Relax. Lessen the time if needed, however, keep the time for inhale, hold, and exhale the same.

The comments for this kriya are: It’s a complete set. If God has written with God’s own hand that you shall live under misfortune, then by doing Subagh Kriya you can turn your misfortune into prosperity, fortune, and good luck.
