Understanding the Problem
We live in a global society filled with addictions. Pressures grow daily and stress is overwhelming.
To cope with these demands, we seek temporary relief to numb ourselves with various substances and behaviors. We learn to replace the impulse with healthy and productive practices.
This leads to our greatest well-being and personal excellence.
How Kundalini Yoga & Meditation Helps
Kundalini Yoga is known as the “Yoga of Awareness”. Its practice rebuilds, strengthens the nervous system, which is directly affected by substance abuse and other addictions.
“Kundalini Yoga gives a person back their own strength, it gives them discipline, changes the chemistry of the blood, stimulates the glandular system, and teaches a person how to relax.”
Meditation promotes clarity of thought and provides the psychological edge necessary to remain calm and non-reactive in challenging situations.
